I would like to organise my own photo exhibition, how do I get started?

This photographer needed structure in his creative chaos. Besides the 1001 ideas, we chose to start with what he really wanted to realise. His own exhibition in his studio. Together we set up a detailed plan with realistic to do's as he also has a job.

challenge

This photographer knew what he wanted, where he wants to go, but how to get started was a big question mark that kept him postponing. By creating a clear visual overview of when and what had to be done, he increased his motivation to give it his all.

results

By bringing structure into his ideas, helping him to think about the first steps (and the details of those steps), putting deadlines in his agenda and following them up at the right moments, he got a motivation boost to accomplish this project.

He had a lot of photos, the pre-selection alone was an obstacle. But e.g. by placing the printer in his studio, printing the photos, display them, visualise them, his idea started to become reality.

He was also struggling with the online visibility campaign. By allowing extra parties to think along, it was suddenly less heavy and the posters were printed and distributed in his own city. Template emails were designed, sent to his network. We had a promotional campaign running on various social media channels.

the impact

A successful exhibition weekend where he sold several work. Afterwards he had several opportunities to exhibit the same work and also other work in different cities.

"Thank you for your motivation and structured approach to my creative chaos... The missing link to realising ideas."
